Meet: Heather

I took an interesting route in getting here but I’m sure glad that I made it! It’s funny how sometimes you can make changes between being left brain to right brain dominent. I got my Bachelors Degree in Finance and Accounting at Texas Christian University (GO FROGS!!) in 2003. After a few years working in the Accounting Industry, I felt like there was something missing and I wanted a little more out of life and to be able to express my creative side that is always tying to come out. Ever since I was I young, I was always interested in different forms of Art, including Photography and Graphic Design. Who knew that my love of KidPix and Paintbrush as an elementary school kid would lead to this?! Around 2006, I started pursuing these passions a bit further and after learning more about photography and design and being able to photograph many weddings and other photo shoots along the way, I was able to do step away from my accounting job and run my own photography business full time! I couldn’t be happier to have this as a career now! I love meeting new people and being able to capture and share in special moments in their lives! I am getting to use my creativity is such a special way in that I get to combine what I love with being part of and helping such happy moments live on in my photography!
